This painting was made specifically for, and subsequently sold to, Hollywood podcaster Joanna Robinson after hearing her jokingly request in a pod episode of "Storm of Spoilers" for someone to paint this incredible scene from Game Of Thrones Season 8 episode 2: A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
I'm honored to say that Bryan Cogman, who wrote this episode of Game of Thrones, owns one of these prints and had it framed and hung.
I took a week off of my normal work to paint this beautiful scene, which features Brienne of Tarth, Tyrion Lannister, Jamie Lannister, Davos Seaworth, and Tormund Giantsbane seated around the hearth in the great hall of Winterfell, talking about the great battle to come. This is moments before Jamie knights Brienne in one of the most memorable scenes in GoT history.
